Based on the «Handbook of unusual natural phenomena» by the US physicist William R. Corliss (1926-2011), director and musician Thom Luz develops a piece about daily life and exceptional circumstances. Corliss was convinced the best way to discover reality is by taking a closer look at anomalies. We constantly talk about the weather, try to understand it and even control it – now it is time for the weather to talk about us. The performers and musicians on stage become weather-makers and install a weather system that takes on a life of its own. They attempt to construct something that is larger than themselves in a manmade space.
There will be a talkback after the show on 4.6.
