Yan Duyvendak (CH/NL) & Omar Ghayatt (EGY) «Still in Paradise»

CROSSROADS – International perspectives on culture, art and society

Beginn: 19:00
Theatre / Performance / English / 135min
«Just do it» meets «Inshallah»! Paradise is, on the one hand, heaven on earth: a high level of income and profit – the prosperity promised by capitalism. On the other hand, paradise is a life after death, a promise made by fundamentalists and made even more tempting by the assurance of a harem of virgins. Against this backdrop, the performers Yan Duyvendak and Omar Ghayatt have taken the performance «Made in Paradise» (2008) to develop their latest project «Still in Paradise».
